We are looking for a new Regulatory Affairs Officer in our Nutricia Worldwide entity based in Zoetermeer. You will play an important role in Nutrica’s business while being a trusted subject matter specialist in the Regulatory field. On a daily basis, you will provide Regulatory expertise, guidance and advice to the business and participate in cross-functional project teams.

About the Job

 

What is the mission of our Regulatory and Legal teams in Danone? Their teams secure the business and social growth of Danone, its activities and its brands. They monitor legal and regulatory changes in a wide range of domains such as contracts, intellectual property, food science, product innovation, distribution law.  They provide continuous strategic guidance by training their key business partners and raising awareness on emerging issues. In connection with their business partners, they assert legal risks, evaluate their business implications and propose sustainable solutions to positively impact the business.

 

You can be part of them joining our team of 7 experts in Nutricia Worldwide and you will manage a small team of 3 registration officers. You will provide Regulatory expertise, guidance and advice to the business and participate in cross-functional project teams. In this role, you will report to the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure compliance with Danone's guidelines, local regulations, standards and legislation for products in Nutricia portfolio. This includes Infant and young child formula, food and  Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP).
  • Carrying out regulatory tasks related to placing Nutricia products on the market, including validation of product labels and registrations.
  • Validate communication materials.
  • Manage Regulatory databases.
  • Be a subject matter specialist in Regulatory Affairs within food and food for special medical purposes for all Nutricia Worldwide countries.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you have at least 5 years of work experience in the regulatory field within food or pharma industry and Academic degree in Regulatory or Food Law. You are someone who can easily understand and assess regulatory risks & opportunities for the business; you know how to bring new or alternative regulatory solutions for the business. Being responsible for a small team, you are someone who with strong people and leadership management skills.

You have excellent rigorous, accurate and strong interpersonal and communication skills. We will welcome an open-minded, reliable, proactive and team-oriented person.
