The Media Connections Manager works as a key member of the Danone Center of Excellence team managing the strategic development and activation setup of Danone paid media campaigns through partnering closely with our media agencies and technology partners. Reporting to Media Connections Senior Manager.
This person will have working knowledge in traditional and native in digital and ad tech media to operate as the internal lead for media rigor across multiple businesses. They foster cross-functional and agency partner teamwork to deliver proven strategic excellence, innovative ideas, and best in class execution and measurement into each campaign.
This role will require a level of experience to influence internal stakeholders and drive adoption based on thought leadership to optimize current efforts and bring new insights through bold, creative thinking.
The Media Connections Manager is an ‘expert generalist’ having knowledge of brand planning, data and analytics, research, creative development, consumer behavior and the role of media (digital and analogue) - both now and with a view on the future. They assist to build strategic vision for Danone media and work to integrate these goals into the broader business.
They have deep knowledge of paid, owned and earned media. And how these interact and work together as a communications eco-system to deliver a connected idea. They understand how brand strategy impacts the construct of a final media plan and the use of technology and content with this.
They have in-depth operational knowledge of digital, social, search, and influencer marketing to enable our media to mirror the evolution of consumer behavior and facilitate the translation of brand strategies into innovative activation plans.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
7-10 years of marketing measurement and analytics experience.
Understanding of the CPG is a plus, as is experience with multiple distribution models, specifically third-party intermediaries and direct to consumer.
Firm understanding and experience with data management, including platform integration (segment profiles, leads data, DSPs, DMPs, CRM). Experience with tag management, test/optimization platforms, web analytics tools, data visualization, analytics/BI tools.
Thorough understanding of the media analytics ecosystem and evolving landscape and a clear point of view of how to categorize, measure, and analyze disparate data to draw meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
Leadership abilities to command executive presence and build relationships across the organization; able to clearly articulate complex technologies and concepts to stakeholders.
Proven ability in building processes and systems within a matrixed organizational structure.
Ability to manage large projects autonomously across multiple stakeholders with a focus on being highly organized, detail-oriented and results driven.
Ability to act fast and perform well under pressure with well-honored critical thinking skills.
Strength in agility and ambiguity.
