Danone North America is looking for a Continuous Improvement Director in White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO.

The Continuous Improvement Director will be responsible for deploying and monitoring performance standards and ensuring a constant streamline of processes is activated within the CBS, leading to high quality performance at optimized costs. Responsibilities critical to this role include FBS, HR, & GS cost controlling evolution and Added Value coordination. Additionally, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be tasked with organizing knowledge management within cluster, utilizing proper documentation, process training, and tools.

Objectives of the role:


• Performance Monitoring
o Deploy Key KPIs (SLA & RSLA) by Domain with monthly follow up and define action plans when needed & explain variations
o Communicate KPIs to all stakeholders (Finance BU / BS SVP | Process heads | GMs)
o CLIO deployment & SLA follow up by Domain
o Benchmark with other CBSs & external companies on process execution & KPIs
o Coordinate productivity committees monitoring all projects status (lean 6 sigma, productivity, automation..

 

• Leverage Team Skills
o Responsible for monitoring & consolidating Training program follow up
o Deploy Lean 6 Sigma program for transactional areas.
o Lean 6 Sigma Projects deployment Follow up & replication opportunities
o Benefit confirmation & replication

 

• Finance Risk Improvement
o Responsible of linking New DANGO referential with process improvement defining action plans to be execute by each process team

 

• Process Automation
o Define Automation roadmap based on processes needs
o Follow up with ISIT SPOC & Finance PMOs
o Set a follow up session with CBS FD & leadership team on project status
o Analyze other solutions existing in the market (Benchmark)

 

• Process Harmonization
o Confirm same usage of SAP for all Business Units
o Process execution confirmation cross business
o Coordinate process map & documentation (Policies, step-by-step, SOPs)

 

• Controlling
o FBS cost evolution follow up (Actuals & Rolling forecast process)
o Identify risk and opportunities
o HR & GS cost coordinator
o Communication & report: Communicate cost evolution to CBUs & RBS. Cost reporting into magnitude every quarter.

 

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field
• Advanced Degree Preferred
• 10+ years experience; preferably in a large, corporate environment

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Significant experience with continuous improvement and project management
• Demonstrated financial analysis strength
• Proven ability to influence and to collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Value-add/Non-Value-add, etc., is a plus
• Experience driving organizational change - including large scale transformation initiatives
• Proven track record in successfully leading high performing teams with tight deadlines and improving efficiencies
• Ability to manage projects, gather data, organize ideas, formulate recommendations, and implement solutions
• Comfort in working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Great communication and people skills; a demonstrated team player
• Unequivocal sense of internal motivation, determination and proactive nature
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

 

Travel Requirement:

25%-30%, tapering down to 15%
