Danone IT CC EMEA is an IT Competence Centre, providing IT services for DANONE in Europe, Russia & Africa Middle East. It is one of four IT Competence Centres in the world, which together support 50 000 users worldwide. The range of provided services focuses around administration of server environments and IT systems, support of IT systems, workstations, management of IT infrastructure.

The overall number of supported users in Europe, Russia & Africa Middle East regions amounts to over 30000 workstations, 1200 servers and a hundred completed international projects. We employ highly qualified experts to ensure the highest support standards for our business partners. The international IT CC EMEA organization is based in Warsaw.

Now we are looking for candidates for position:

IT Specialist in Unified Communication Team

Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day support of the network including WAN, LAN and WiFi ensuring a high performing, consistent and secure network environment,
  • Respond to tickets raised via the ITSM tool. Resolve all tickets within target times to ensure that department service levels and key performance indicators are achieved,
  • Manage network related activities on local, regional level as needed,
  • Evaluate customer networks for performance, scalability, and security,
  • Maintain an inventory of network related devices, documentation and monitoring solution,
  • Provide appropriate training, guidance and assistance to Local IT Support staff,
  • Escalating complex issues to 2nd, 3rd line of support or solution provider whichever applicable,
  • Work with internal technical teams and product placement and feature improvements for availability, reliability and manageability,
  • Acting as a liaison, advisor and technician on network issues within the supported region.

Ideal candidate:

  • University degree in computer science or related,
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in IT of which at least 1 year experience with network technology,
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and Access Points,
  • Worked on medium size networks & Managed Service Portfolio,
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and logical thinking,
  • Advanced verbal and written skills in English,
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills, improvement mindset,
  • Proactive attitude looking for new and optimal solutions,
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and good analytical skills,
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, perform tasks with minor supervision and work under time pressure.
