Do you have an L&D background or a keen interest in this area? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Development Coordinator to join our team here at Nutricia. This is a full time role based at our head office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

 

 

Overall Purpose of the Job

Supporting the UKIR Sales Development Partner in all Sales Learning and Development initiatives to deliver the overall ambition of the Sales L & D Strategic Roadmap across the UKIR AMN Cluster. The Sales Development Coordinator plays their part in actively driving the Sales Organisation Transformation journey:

 

  • By partnering with the UKIR Sales Development Partner in the delivery, design and organisation of Learning and Development initiatives driven by both the Strategic Roadmap and Operational requirements of the UKIR sales organisation
  • By maximising the capability (skills, knowledge & competence) of the UKIR Nutricia AMN Sales Team
  • By supporting the Sales Management teams develop a High Performing & Learning Sales Organisation to drive and sustain commercial effectiveness through highly competent and skilled teams: Therapy Areas Specialists, Metabolic Team, Account Managers, Contracts, Paediatric Teams, Ireland Hospital & Ireland Community teams

 

Key Responsibilities

  • The Sales Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Sales L&D plan and coordinating all organisational aspects of the Sales Learning and Development initiatives both in the office and in the field
  • Responsible for the evaluation, analysis and monitoring of all learning initiatives, including satisfaction surveys and events ROI.
  • Based on insights and where learning solutions do not currently exist, the Sales Development Coordinator is responsible for working cross functionally in the Danone Business and expected to source some materials and / or design some learning solutions and initiatives under the direction of the Sales Development Partner.

 

Main Challenges

  • To work autonomously day to day as the Sales Development Partner is field based and so often will not be proximate.
  • To engage effectively with the sales teams and champion continuous learning while being aware of commercial imperatives and time commitments.
  • To manage a diverse workload and adapt and flex to a dynamic, commercial fast paced environment with high pressure and multiple challenges.
  • The role will require excellent interpersonal skills in order to build trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders across many functions.
  • The role will involve attendance and support at sales learning events across the UK and Ireland and so will necessitate some national travel and occasional overnight stays.
  • To maintain effective channels of communication with relevant stakeholders, many of whom will be field based

 

Delivarables & KPI's

  • Members of the sales team attend appropriate need based learning activities which embed learning and which are evaluated to measure their impact.
  • Learners see the value of IDPs and proactively drive their development.
  • Logistics and arrangements for learning programmes are tracked and communicated effectively to participants and trainers.
  • Learning programmes are delivered in line with Danone Learning Principles and are aligned to individual and business priorities.
  • New starters to the sales team have a positive first experience of learning and development at Nutricia.

  • A good understanding of the key business priorities of Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition.
  • An understanding of the roles with the UKIR sales team and their priorities and pressures.
  • Empathy with the Sales Team, trustworthiness & authenticity.
  • Induction experience

 

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a commercial / healthcare organisation and ideally experience with field based personnel. Health care an advantage.
  • The ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point)
