USG - Danone Waters of America, Inc., a subsidiary of Danone, is looking for a National Account Manager, Retail - Danone Waters of America in Canada (CA) for Toronto (Home office).

Premium Water category is booming over the last years in North America, for the first time the bottled water category will outgrow the CSD category in 2016.

DWA business ambition is to double its size from 2016 to 2020, leveraging our market position in North America and driving the growth of the Premium Water Category.  In Canada, evian holds the market share leader position within Premium Water with 42% $ Share and must maintain its leadership such as delivering an aggressive growth target. Distribution of our product in Canada is handled by Coca-Cola Refreshments.

The challenge for the future is to improve evian’s position in our main retail customers.  Lead the premium bottled conversation with our key customers to ensure a larger distribution, shelf space, meet new shopper needs and to improve our level of execution throughout point of sale (on shelf availability, visibility, promotion Execution).


  1. About 75% of total Canada DWA business
  2. Responsibility on Grocery, Mass, Club, Drug and Convenience Retail Channels for DWA in Canada.


  • Working with the Sales Vice President and the Sales strategy team in putting together the Large stores strategic plans, identifying the priorities and KPIs, creating the activation plans and working with the field sales organization to provide the tools to be successful in execution
  • Building the Channel Plans as well as Key Account strategic plans in order to feed Coca-Cola Sales teams customer plans and ensure that we continue to grow in the marketplace and grow our strategic partnership
  • Monitor execution and exert influence within Coca-Cola Sales Organization to keep evian top of mind
  • Incorporating specific customer and shopper insights into the company’s planning process
  • Owning the development of the long term vision (3 to 5 years) for the key customers
  • Supporting the yearly JBP (Joint Business Planning) process with key customers  to ensure the right AMPS strategy (assortment, merchandising, pricing and shelving)
  • Representing and presenting the business and its performance internally and externally
  • Analyzing the water segment and DWA brands performance in the different customers and recommend the needed corrective actions (Nielsen Data)
  • Ensure that all volume and trade forecasting is accurate in the sales system (CAS)
  • Define best promotional strategy, owning the P&L by driving the most efficient ROIs across the water segment and accounts, i.e promotional analysis, staying within spend



    5-8 year experience in Sales in Beverage and/or Food industries.

    Customer planning experience and Key account management experience

    Analytical skills (Nielsen)

    Strong leadership and influencing skills

    Passion for excellence in execution, change agent with high motivation, speed and drive and willingness to make a difference

    Collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit

    Bilingual (French & English) a plus
