Danone North America is looking for a Production/Workforce Scheduler AM/PM in San Juan Bautista.

OBJECTIVE: Develop and manage efficient production schedule that balances needs of manufacturing, sales/customer service, inventory, and cost goals.


• Plan daily production line schedule & plant capacities with the goal to minimize excess inventories, plant changeovers and optimization of raw material opportunities.
• Communicate cross functionally with Sales, Procurement, Shipping, Receiving, and Production Managers to remain updated on any new forecasts or changes in demand that will affect production or capacity.
• Monitor hourly production schedule is on target thru respective shifts
• Ensure attainment shortages are coordinated as not to affect customer demand nor the following shift.
• Coordinate based on sales forecast a weekly plant schedule alongside OPS management.
• Develop, analyze and support sales weekly & monthly forecast modules.
• Develop, analyze and support raw procurement daily and weekly yields and forecast modules.
• Generate and analyze weekly/period based Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports.
• Leverage technologies to improve supply chain performance; advance-planning software, MRP, ERP &WMS systems etc.
• Manage efficiency targets for inventory control and replenish raw product orders to maintain raw product safety inventory levels for following day demands. 
• Coordinate with Employment Agencies when sales forecast impact Manufacturing Headcount.
• Participate in twice daily DDS meetings as required
• Work closely with OPS CI team in projects to involve and develop a concise inventory strategy.
• Understand and track daily production headcount by line to assure that line positions are being filled.
• Analyze headcount trends with Production Manager as to assure staffing requirements are met.

• Coordinate, lead and/or participation in management meetings as required.
• Drive continuous improvement process and recommend new strategies and tools to increase forecast accuracy.

Skills / Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 3 – 5 years experience in a Manager level planning, forecasting, or scheduling capacity required; APICS certification preferred.
• Understanding of Supply Chain processes including inventory maintenance and replenishment information systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, WMS (SAP) and MRP.
• Self directed with a sense of urgency and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must be flexible with work schedule AM/PM and weekend shifts is a requirement.
• General knowledge in conducting RCA’s
