We are looking for a Key Account Manager - Retail Chains on our New York Sales team to manage high level buyer relationship calls with every major chain for the NY Metropolitan area.


Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee execution of National Retail plans within NY market, with specific focus is Grocery/Ecommerce and C&G development.
• Responsible for building key relationships with regional key contacts of each customer and planning incremental activity through local distributor partner, Pepsi and internal District Manager (DM) teams.
• Secure pricing in line with DWA profit structure for the market.
• Execute sales programs in relation to tpr's, in store ads, features, and distros.
• Provide knowledge, insights and business-customers intelligence to eco-system.
• Provide analytical assessment of competitor insights, initiatives, and in market activity to NY Sales Director.
• Build joint business plans with Key Account Managers for Pepsi NY- benchmarking volume, monthly pricing promotions across channels, weekly distribution score carding, building Pepsi incentives.
• Responsible for providing forecasts and plans for customers to NY Director.
• Lead and manage new item set up - from negotiations on pricing, launch plans, sell sheets, promotional funding, sale teams kick offs, and securing initial inventory.
• Manage communication stream and working ways between National Account Managers, Key Account Managers to District Managers/Territory Managers.
• Manage rebates and budgets through CAS (trade tracking system), High Radius Solutions, and individual T&E.
• Represent DWA and NY team at local marketing and top customer events


Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Negotiations, forecasting, strategic business planning, relationship management, margin minder, CAS, High Radius Solutions, business development.
• Ability to effectively operate in a multi-dimensional, complex environment and interact with all levels in organizations.
• Fundamental understanding of business planning and marketing plan knowledge.
• Ability to cultivate growth using analytical skills while viewing financial data.
• Facility with numbers, numerical information, and basic trade math.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Self-motivated and a doer.
