Danone North America is looking for a Scheduling Supervisor - Minster in our Minster, Ohio manufacturing facility.


The primary responsibilities of a Scheduling Supervisor are to effectively lead a team of scheduling and WMS associates to department KPI’s.  The Company seeks an employee who appreciates their role in the product life cycle and desires to abide by company policies related to safety, quality, and the environment.  This is a salary-exempt position reporting to the Flow Manager.


Specific Duties Include:

  • Managing and mobilizing a team to ensure Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Service Goals are met
  • Develop production plan to optimize days of supply and line run time. Subject Matter expert for WMS system, MRP replenishment of materials from MWDC, and SAP.
  • Manage data and communications with support teams to ensure proper staffing and materials to meet schedule needs.
  • Identify, communicate, and problem solve supply gaps ensuring maximum customer service.
  • Work with cross functional teams to schedule project work and communicate support needs to corporate planning team.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to improve supply planning processes as well as manage risks and opportunities for assigned projects.
  • Interact with the Procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of packaging, materials and ingredients.
  • Key user for Endeavour testing/launch of new WMS system and changes to SAP
  • Demonstrate progress towards communicated objectives
  • Improving and maintaining communicated performance standards for department; managing with the flexibility to react as needed when breakdowns arise
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion in a fluid environment.
  • Analyze department performance metrics to resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Validation of time and attendance through daily and weekly reviews of your team's timecards.  Manage team vacations.
  • Regular formal and informal evaluations and feedback of the performance of your associates
  • Ensuring department's compliance with company's policies, procedures.
  • Driving accountability through strong leadership and setting consistent expectations


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree; BS Degree in Supply Chain Management or Mechanical/Industrial Engineer is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced planning systems (SAP APO plus).
  • Strong statistical and analytical knowledge.
  • Knowledge/experience in Supply Chain process improvement, process optimization idea generation and implementation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the impact of supply chain on the supplier and the company P&L.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess demonstrated planning, communication and supervisory skills
  • Previous leadership experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
  • Shift flexibility where weekends and nights may be required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and decision-making ability
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and potentially stressful conditions
  • Under minimal direction, works independently toward department objectives
  • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
