As a “National Accounts Sales Manager" you will play an important role to drive channel’s sales strategies and profitability targets. The position is expected to accelerate growth by building short and long-term strategies that support customer goals while achieving company sales targets and financial expectations.

About the Job:

 

  • Ensures the implementation through the trade and to ensure the maximum availability, accessibility and support of Danone brands as well as customer satisfaction
  • Supervises the deployment of strategies by Key Account Managers so as to assure key accounts are serviced at a national level
  • Defining the Sales Strategy of NKA: Define and constantly direct implementation of the long and short term sales strategy covering a customer strategy, promotion, pricing and distribution strategy
  • Budget Planning: Define and implement budget plan with sales growth, volume, market share, gross sales, CANN and ROP. Steer the Key Account Team and C&CD department to implement breakthrough projects within the functional goals in the most profitable way
  • Account Management: Define business objectives per account (volume, gross & net sales, discounts, market share, # of SKUs, profitability, payment collection)
  • Retail Marketing: Develop and implement a strong retail marketing agenda with focus on national retail promotions, account specific promotions, annual display planning, strong merchandising and display tools
  • Effective Shelf Management: Optimize the assortment and introduction of new products thru fair shelving, brand blocks and POP usage
  • Trade Terms Agreements: Engineer NKA’s Trade Terms strategies and negotiate on a profitable and executable agreement, incentivizing customers both for (supply chain) efficiencies and growth levers
  • People Management: Recruit, train and motivate the Key Account Team, steer, monitor and implement the PDR process, set performance objectives

 

About You:

 

  • University degree
  • Min 10 years of experience in sales
  • Strong negotiator, analytic, strategic thinker
  • High concentration on negotiation skills
  • Category planning and retail execution
  • Shopper, Market & Industry understanding
  • Comfortable with numbers, good analytical skills enabling to make analysis without getting lost in details
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
