Job Title: Paediatric Sales Representative

Location:  Cambridgeshire

Role Aim

To identify, develop and manage key Paediatric specialist prescribers and influencers. To deliver territory sales targets and to build mutually beneficial relationships and achieve a ‘preferred partner status’ with all our key customers to ensure sustainable growth for a defined group of health economies. To continually look for new opportunities to niche in Specialist Paediatric products and gain leverage for the clinical business. To maximise sales and profitability through all sales channels.


About You:  

You will be an experienced sales professional with pharma/ healthcare or medical devices background and a thorough understanding of the NHS. As a Paediatric Sales Representative, you will:


Sales and profit

  • Deliver territory performance of sales against target within an agreed budget.
  • Be Responsible for Paediatric contract performance against KPIs in Nutricia accounts.
  • Shared accountability of implementation of “push-pull” strategy to an excellent standard
  • Develop, review, track progress and deliver on a territory business plan and account plans.
  • Identifying accounts to niche in Specialist Paediatric business or use paediatrics to leverage clinical business in both Hospital and Community settings
  • Actively participate in cross functional teams to drive account profitability and/or sales opportunities, may include involvement in ad hoc projects


Customer Orientation

  • Identify key customers and develop sustainable relationships in order to sell Nutricia products and services in line with the customer need delivering profitable growth. Provide an appropriate solution and deliver against commitments made. 
  • Relationship development of local key stakeholders and commissioner influencers in partnership with Sales Managers & Account Managers
  • To drive and facilitate account management meeting customer requirements.
  • Prepare, analyse and report on calls in order to progress the relationship and develop skills.
  • Effective management and mobilisation of KOL’s. 



  • Effective cross functional working ability
  • Ability to appropriately challenge ways of working and develop solutions with colleagues
  • Desire & ability to improve performance and share best practice

Candidate Profile:

  • You will be an experienced sales professional with pharma/ healthcare or medical devices background and a thorough understanding of the NHS.
