Danone North America is looking for a Network Analyst/Sr. Analyst - CO in Broomfield. *Approval from your Manager & HR Business Partner are required prior to applying to this requisition*

 

Position Description:

 

The Network Analyst is responsible for E2E network optimization activities for Beverage and Yogurt business units. The position leads critical strategic initiatives through early phases and support business case building; This entails conducing the analysis, communicating key insights, and driving recommendations to stakeholders. The position has frequent contacts with SC leadership and requires clear and effective communication skills to translate complex concepts into meaningful insights.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead network analysis and deliver insights to inform to decision makers on: capital business cases, M&A opportunities, capacity expansion, Buy-vs-make analysis, production and distribution ideal sourcing
  • Be the subject matter expert in network flows and impact on total landed cost
  • Supports S&OP mid-range planning through capacity planning
  • Utilize math, statistics, optimization, and simulation techniques and methodologies to drive business insights
  • Run what-if analysis around key parameters and constraints
  • Provide end-to-end visibility to total network flows and cost
  • Manage data in existing optimization models in Llamasoft SCG: refresh models with recent data, refine model design to reflect new business changes, run models, and extract and analyze results
  • Identify sourcing improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of recommendations
  • Work in internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Manipulate and manage data utilizing (SQL, R, Data Guru, Access, Python, etc)
     

Education and Experience (Requirements):

 

  • 4 year degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferably in CPG/Retail industries and with focus on supply chain
  • 2+ years of experience building models in Llamasoft SCG/Logic Net Plus is a plus
  • Knowledge of the principles of optimization and simulation
  • Strong database management skills (SQL, R, Python, or Access)
  • Passionate about solving complex business problems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audience
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external teams
  • Able to multitask and work on multiple projects with varying priorities
  • Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPivot or other data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and mythologies (Lean, SPC, VSM, Root Cause Analysis, etc)
  • Ability to Travel 10% of the time
  • Project Management experience/training
  • Master’s degree in a technical field is a strong plus
  • Pervious consulting experience
  • Experience within Supply Chain Operations (Customer Collaborations, Transportation and Warehousing, supply and demand planning, manufacturing)
  • Basic programming background in VBA, C,C++, Java, and Python etc
