The Associate Manager, Customer Financial Services is responsible for leading high-performance teams for the invoice to cash function in our Center of Excellence Customer Financial Shared Services facility in Broomfield Colorado.

 

Objectives of the role Required Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• May be accountable for a high risk or key customer portfolio including all invoice to cash transactional activity
• Required to provide internal management with insights into open, unresolved issues or other problems that arise
• Lead an aggressive and focused effort to resolve customer issues using collection and deduction resolution techniques to improve free cash flow and working capital
• Assist in managing the integrity of systems through monitoring of daily interfaces and processes, including reconciling as required
• Assist in the development of an organization that is focused on value added activities, maintaining a high level of productivity, integrity and trust thereby positioned to respond to the needs of a growing Danone and our customers
• Deliver best in class service to internal and external partners at the lowest cost per transaction; recognize areas of opportunity and assist in the implementation of necessary organizational changes to support key Danone initiatives and respond to changes in market, technology and our customer's
• Build strong relationships with sales, finance, supply chain and other key internal partners to resolve issues and improve processes for efficiency
• Assist to ensure Business Control Compliance for credit risk and invoice to cash functions as required. May work closely with internal and external audit to provide information to ensure controls are in place and compliance is maintained
• Perform regular leadership duties, ensure financial goals and objectives are consistently met; coach and mentor team members and consistently strive to raise the bar.

Targeted profile Required The ideal candidate will possess the following skillset:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related field or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Finance roles in the consumer product goods (CPG), and
AFH and beverage, or dairy industry; exposure and positive interaction with Sales team's is required
• Achieves results effectively; results, high performance and process improvement oriented
• Develops and encourages cross functional collaboration and effectiveness
• Knowledge of SAP, Excel, PowerPoint required
• Prior finance and deduction management skills preferred
• Working knowledge of HighRadius or other credit to cash bolt-on software preferred
• Must possess solid analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
• Excels in both oral and written communication skills, able to tell stories with data
• Influential ability to interact and communicate with all levels in a matrix organization
• Proactive continuous improvement and able to implement change as required
• Passionate for career growth in related business finance teams or functions in Danone
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team; capable of building a high performing team that fosters team spirit
• Prior leadership experience required
• Solid interpersonal awareness; able to interact with all levels of management
• Project management skills preferred
