Vision of the role:
The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Sales Solutions will provide execution oversight and strategic leadership to Field Sales, Field CS&I, Center CS&I, GTM functions and blended internal and out-sourced BI data and Space solution delivery teams. This role will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Retailer data and Retailer syndicated data platforms as well as collaborating with Strategy Insights and Marketing Analytics on providing a Sales view for BI infrastructure and platform solutions. The role will speed the flow of information delivery and simplify the process to deliver insights and reporting to the Sales organization and be responsible for a combination of program management, driving data analytics, automated reporting, data visualization, defining metrics, space management process and regulatory/compliance reporting and automation.

 

Key responsibilities:
Build/Lead Enterprise Sales Solution Function
- Transform reporting and analytic capabilities/practices leveraging existing budgets
- Align with Marketing Analytics in the Center to ensure Marketing and Sales leverage available Business Intelligence platforms across NORAM
- Identify gaps that exist today and partners to help support NORAM long-term growth objectives
- Provide feedback and guidance on current and future structure leveraging third party partners and internal resources
- Partner with CS&I to support Space Management initiatives that are required to maintain strategic partnerships
- Influencing smart, productive changes to vendor practices
- Manage 1-4 direct reports and (2) vendor partners
Advance analytic capabilities for NORAM sales organization
- Develop capabilities to improve efficiencies and speed-to-market of data insights and space management initiatives
- Identifying, aligning and reporting business performance drivers and associated metrics for sales and CS&I
- Gain adoption and use of BI capabilities and syndicated data tools
- Partner with CS&I to educate the customer and sales team on consumer and business category insights and selling stories that can be used to influence customer plans
- Connect with stakeholders across the organization to understand key business intelligence and reporting needs, gaps and opportunities for efficiencies
- Share success stories as well as opportunities across the organization
- Serve as the expert and representative on data, analytic and space solution needs
- Partner with IT to ensure the right processes are in-place to support space management software and BI platforms
Be on the cutting edge of Business Intelligence Platforms
- Be up to speed and evaluate category, space solutions and BI technology enablers and contract necessary technology/tools for the organization
- Work with SI and Marketing Analytics team to co-develop future BI platforms
- In conjunction with IT and cross-functional partners, test and implement BI tool capabilities
- Develop the future vision of the function and have a perspective on the long-term trends and strategy (3-5 years) that will feed into the CS&I and Shopper Marketing 3 to 5 year plan

 

Qualifications:
4-year college degree in Business, Data Science or related field (Finance, etc.)
MBA in Data Science a plus but not required
10+ years previous experience in category management, business intelligence, Customer facing roles (Sales, Category, Shopper, etc...) within the CPG industry with increasing levels of responsibility
6+ years in sales analytics or category management
Prior experience managing people, budgets and relationships with retailer and third party solution partners
Expert in syndicated data required, proficient in shopper/panel data and space management
■ Occasional travel
