ABOUT THE JOB

 

In this role, you will head up our Maintenance function – leading site maintenance strategy and championing best practices for assets management/optimisation. Managing a team of 9 (4-5 direct reports), you will assume end-to-end maintenance responsibility for our Balclutha plant and efficient management including Inventory and Planning.

 

This is a permanent full-time position, working Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm with on-call responsibility. The successful candidate will ideally be starting in January 2021.

 

You will:

 

  • Be accountable for the Maintenance strategy and roadmap, in line with dynamic business goals
  • Build, implement and manage plant maintenance systems according to industry best practices
  • Lead the annual planned and predictive maintenance budget requirements for manufacturing assets
  • Understand, develop LOTO program and act as the LOTO lead/expert for Balclutha site
  • Strengthen the Maintenance team – providing strategic guidance and vision, building team capabilities

 

ABOUT YOU

 

Ideally you will have:

 

  • Robust operational maintenance experience in dairy/food industry, instrumentation/electrical experience is highly desirable
  • Proven knowledge in TPM and project management
  • Strong team management experience, with understanding of roadmap building, functional strategy, budget control
  • Flexible, adaptive leadership approach – ability to work with people across levels
